We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to share an important update regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) for the year 2024.
The National Testing Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education, has been conducting NEET (UG) since 2019, as mandated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
NEET (UG) serves as a common and uniform entrance test for undergraduate medical education across all medical institutions in India. It is also applicable for admission to undergraduate courses in various disciplines such as BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS under the respective regulatory acts.
For aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses offered by the Military Nursing Service (MNS) at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals, qualifying NEET (UG) is a prerequisite. The NEET (UG) score will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course.
Here are some key details regarding NEET (UG) 2024:
- The entrance test will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- Questions will be divided into two sections (A and B) with 50 questions in each subject.
- The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).
- NEET (UG) 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Key Dates for NEET (UG) 2024 Online Application:
- Online Submission of Application Form: 09 February 2024 to 09 March 2024 (up to 09:00 PM)
- Last date of successful transaction of fee: 09 March 2024 (up to 11:50 PM)
- Correction in Particulars: To be intimated later on the website
Fee Structure:
- General: ₹1700/-
- General-EWS/ OBC-NCL: ₹1600/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹1000/-
