NEET 2023 Exam Analysis: Physics Section Shows Improved Difficulty Level, Expected Registrations and Cut-Offs Revealed

Aspirants who are preparing for the NEET 2023 exam are eagerly awaiting any information on the difficulty level of the exam and the expected number of registrations. Based on initial reactions from students, the Physics section was the toughest, while the Chemistry and Biology sections ranged from easy to moderate difficulty levels. However, compared to previous years, the NEET 2023 Physics paper was reportedly easier.

It is expected that the NEET 2023 exam will witness more than 20.87 lakh candidates registered and in attendance, with a success rate of around 6.5-7% for total candidates qualified against the number of seats. In terms of cut-offs, based on the analysis of the last five years, the general category NEET cut-off is expected to be around 716-720, while for OBC, SC and ST candidates, it may vary around 119-95.

Going by the NEET Paper Analysis of last year, the Zoology and Botany papers were easy but lengthy with a few tricky and challenging questions. Questions from the inorganic chemistry chapters of the NEET syllabus were more difficult than organic and physical chemistry, while Physics was moderate to tough with maximum questions of numerical-type.

Aspirants can expect to have around 150 good attempts, but it is important to note that the success in the NEET exam will depend on various factors, such as preparation, exam-day performance, and a bit of luck. It is crucial for students to focus on their preparation, practice consistently, and stay updated with the latest exam patterns and syllabus.
