The university derives its foundational spirit from the freedom fighter Sr. Lal Singh Ji, who fought for the independence of India. In 1972, his efforts in social work and his services during the freedom struggle were recognized by the Government of India, and he was awarded the 'Tamra Patra.' ABOUT THE FACULTY:
PG School of Dental Sciences and Hospital owes its formation to the father of Dr. Zora Singh, Late Sardar Lal Singh Ji who was a veteran freedom fighter and was close associate of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital was established in the year 1999. A decade is like a speck in the life of a vibrant institute and during these years DBDC has incredibly nurtured its legitimate assertion of being recognized as a premier post graduate institute of the region by sprouting prudent & capable dentists out of BDS & MDS aspirants.
