MBA courses in India are among the most prestigious and sought after educational courses in the world. India has long been a hub for MBA education, with multiple universities and colleges offering courses in both the private and public sector.
These courses generally consists of two years of classroom, practical and fieldwork-based study, and offer a comprehensive coverage of the various techniques and theories related to business administration. There are also specialized MBA courses, such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Information Technology and Banking and Insurance, among many others.

In order to apply for admission into a MBA course in India, applicants must be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. In addition, there are several entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, and so on, that must be cleared in order to gain entry into the MBA program.
