WB NEET UG Counselling: The West Bengal NEET UG counselling process will now consist of three rounds – Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3.

 

The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal, has announced the cancellation of the physical stray vacancy round for the NEET UG medical and dental counselling. The WB NEET UG counselling process will now include only three rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3.

The official notice cited an “inadvertent glitch” that led to the mention of the physical stray vacancy round in the counselling process.

Additionally, the Directorate has revised the minimum marks requirement for PWD candidates. According to the new regulations, the minimum marks required in the qualifying examination in physics, chemistry, and biology combined will be 40 percent, down from the previous 50 percent, as per NMC and DCI guidelines.
