Admission Process for IIBS Bangalore

1. Eligibility Criteria

• MBA/PGDM:
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
  • Valid scores in any national or state-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or ATMA.
• BBA/BCA:
  • Completion of 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

2. Application Process

• Online Mode:
  • Visit the official IIBS website.
  • Register and fill out the application form with personal, academic, and professional details.
  • Upload necessary documents (10th/12th marksheets, entrance exam scorecards, ID proof, etc.).
  • Pay the application fee online.
• Offline Mode:
  • Obtain the application form from the campus or designated centers.
  • Submit the completed form along with required documents and application fees directly to the admissions office.

3. Entrance Exams

• For MBA/PGDM programs, scores from any of the following exams are accepted:
  • CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or state-level exams.
• No entrance exam is required for undergraduate programs (BBA/BCA), which are merit-based.

4. Selection Process

• For MBA/PGDM:
  • Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round, which evaluates communication skills, leadership potential, and subject knowledge.
  • Final selection is based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, and GD/PI performance.
• For BBA/BCA:
  • Merit-based shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview.

5. Document Verification

Selected candidates must submit original and photocopies of the following documents:

• Academic certificates (10th, 12th, graduation marksheets).
• Entrance exam scorecard (for MBA/PGDM).
• Identity proof (Aadhar card, passport, or equivalent).
• Passport-size photographs.

6. Final Admission and Fee Payment

• After selection, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fee within the stipulated time.

Important Notes

• Scholarships are available based on entrance exam scores or academic performance.
• International students must meet additional requirements, such as English proficiency tests and visa documentation.
