Admission Process for IIBS Bangalore
1. Eligibility Criteria
- MBA/PGDM:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
- Valid scores in any national or state-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or ATMA.
- BBA/BCA:
- Completion of 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
2. Application Process
- Online Mode:
- Visit the official IIBS website.
- Register and fill out the application form with personal, academic, and professional details.
- Upload necessary documents (10th/12th marksheets, entrance exam scorecards, ID proof, etc.).
- Pay the application fee online.
- Offline Mode:
- Obtain the application form from the campus or designated centers.
- Submit the completed form along with required documents and application fees directly to the admissions office.
3. Entrance Exams
- For MBA/PGDM programs, scores from any of the following exams are accepted:
- CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or state-level exams.
- No entrance exam is required for undergraduate programs (BBA/BCA), which are merit-based.
4. Selection Process
- For MBA/PGDM:
- Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round, which evaluates communication skills, leadership potential, and subject knowledge.
- Final selection is based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, and GD/PI performance.
- For BBA/BCA:
- Merit-based shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview.
5. Document Verification
Selected candidates must submit original and photocopies of the following documents:
- Academic certificates (10th, 12th, graduation marksheets).
- Entrance exam scorecard (for MBA/PGDM).
- Identity proof (Aadhar card, passport, or equivalent).
- Passport-size photographs.
6. Final Admission and Fee Payment
- After selection, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fee within the stipulated time.
Important Notes
- Scholarships are available based on entrance exam scores or academic performance.
- International students must meet additional requirements, such as English proficiency tests and visa documentation.
